Is this for real?
Absolutely. Give it a try! YES, it works. YES, it is free to try. Go see for yourself what over 1 million downloaders a month see.
Should I use the Sun Java Plug-in ?
It depends. Does our software work right now for you? Then don't change anything. Have you tried all the fixes listed in the following paragraphs below and are still getting nowhere? Then yes, perhaps installing Sun Microsystem's Java Plug-in will solve everything and make our software work properly. Here's how to check if you are currently using the Plug-in (we are only going to take a look and not change any settings right now):
Basically, both checkmark boxes (described above) need to be CHECKED for your Sun Java Plug-in to be functioning. If you ever want to turn it off, you can temporarily DISABLE their plug-in by simply UN-checking both of those boxes and clicking "Apply", then "OK". To turn the plug-in back on, just reverse the process by re-checking both boxes. It is truly that simple to toggle back and forth and you won't be hurting anything. One important note when switching back and forth: make sure you have all other windows closed before performing the two changes, to ensure the change performs properly. And a re-boot afterwards is not a bad idea. In any event, try turning OFF the plug-in's two check boxes and see if that makes our software work (or work better!) for you. And vice-versa, try turning ON the plug-in's two check boxes if they were off. This could definitely speed things up and make your online game play much smoother as well.
How to install the Sun Java Plug-in.
Use the below steps to completely install a brand new Plug-in or even just to upgrade your current Plug-in:
Which is better? Sun Java or MSJVM?
MSJVM by a long shot, and how can you partake in the fun? Glad you asked. Yes, you just bought a new computer and the numbskulls at Sun Microsystems won the lawsuit and now MSJVM doesn't come on your computer and everyone points you to Sun Java. Here is the link you need to get the best java experience. MSJVM DOWNLOAD You know the deal afterward.....blah blah blah.
Possible conflicting software issues.

ANY DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR'S, these seem to cause our software problems. Please disable these. Our software is small and compact. No accelerating or speed needed to download these small files
> Sun Microsystem's JAVA additions/upgrades ** (such as their SDK development console software or even just the plug-in runtime SE).
> AdSubtract
> Call Wave
> Pagoo
We have received reports from different people that the software listed above COULD cause our programs to operate incorrectly, or not at all. The simple solution is to temporarily disable them while using any of our products (we would recommend a complete re-boot of your computer, and then terminate their software if it is running. Afterwards, log back on to your online game). If this is not possible and you don't actually USE this conflicting software, we would highly recommend un-installing the product if you want OUR software to work (make sure you re-boot after the un-installation). We have personally tested some of these conflicts and sure enough, our software worked just fine after removing the culprits. ** If you have "upgraded" your java or downloaded the plug-in from Sun's website, please read the instructions in step #1 listed directly below here. You do NOT need to "un-install" that plug-in, but can simply toggle a quick switch in your Control Panel.
My software does not click what it is supposed to click.
We have gotten reports that one of these three solutions work. Let us know if either of the solutions below worked for you, or if you have found a different fix that got yours going. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is only happening to a very rare % of people (and not to any of our testing machines). We have all flavors of operating systems, motherboards, processors, ram, web browsers, internet connection speeds, video cards, etc. It is difficult to fix something that doesn't happen here, and we would never release a product that didn't work 100% for us first here at home base. But these three quick solutions could EASILY get you trucking and make our software function perfectly, if you just try.
1. Java Plug-In: Go to your Control Panel in Windows. Look for the Java Plug-In entry there. If it exists (do this for each if you have multiple entries), double-click it to open your Java Plug-In Control Panel window. Then choose the Browser tab at the top and see if the browser you are using is CHECKED or unchecked. UNCHECK your browser there and click Apply, then OK. Close the Java Plug-In window and try your online game now in a brand new browser window. If your game does not load at all, just repeat these steps again and re-CHECK your browser. Everything will switch back just like it was.
2. Color mode: Right-click any blank area of your desktop and left-click Properties. Choose the Settings tab up at the top. Look on the bottom and it will tell you what your color setting is. If it is in 256 color mode, change it to 16 or 32 bit. If you are in High or True color mode, switch it to the other color setting. Example: if your computer is currently in 32-bit mode, change it to 16 or 24 (just pick the other mode). Click Apply, then OK. Make sure you completely re-boot your computer, or the change might not truly work until you do.
3. Game size: Change your online game's screen size setting. Go to their website, and log in to your account like you normally do. Find the area where you can change your account's settings. Then change your screen size setting to the OTHER setting. If you are in Large mode, switch it to Small (or vice-versa). The different size might make our software kick in. Our software should work for both modes. So if Large mode is not working, the Small just might happen.
My software does not read the letters correctly.
You probably have "smooth edges of screen fonts" SELECTED inside of your windows operating system. It is "smoothing the edges" of the letters in your game, making our software unable to read them correctly!
* if using Windows XP:
1. Right-click your desktop, then left-click "Properties".
2. Choose the "Appearance" tab up at the top.
3. Click "Effects..." in the next window.
4. UNCHECK the 2nd option "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" so that it no longer does edge smoothing.
5. Click "OK". It will back you out to the previous window.
6. Click "Apply", then "OK" to close out of THAT window.
7. You are finished. Close any previously opened online game window, and start a fresh one.
* other Windows versions:
1. Right-click your desktop, then left-click "Properties".
2. Choose the "Effects" tab up at the top.
3. UNCHECK the 2nd option "Smooth edges of screen fonts" so that it no longer does edge smoothing.
4. Click "Apply", then "OK" to close out the window.
5. You are finished. Close any previously opened online game window, and start a fresh one.
My software is not the latest version. How do I convert?
Just download the latest .exe file, and run it! Make sure it works okay, and then you can delete your old one. We would recommend renaming the original older file you have been using first (right-click the file and choose rename). Maybe rename "ss.exe" to "ss-old.exe", or just temporarily move the file to another directory. After the new download of the newer version and you confirm it works fine for you, just delete your older "ss-old.exe" file you renamed or moved. In other words, don't completely delete something that was working for you before trying the new version and ensuring that it works as well. And don't worry, our programs will recognize if they are "registered" or not, either way.
What is the deal with the Shareware % shrinking?
The % shown, is how much Shareware time your software has remaining. If your number is at 75%, then you have used a fourth of the free time so far. The Shareware concept is designed to allow people to try our product for a free trial time. Most of our software allows you to check it out for a range of 8-24 hours, so you can get a taste of exactly what the registered version will do for you. Once you have expired the Shareware counter, the software will not work until you register your copy. To register, just click the ADD TO CART button on any of the pages you would like the program for. The second we receive your one-time payment, you will be emailed your personal password that unlocks this limitation. Your Shareware will immediately become Registered, and stay fully functional forever.
I can't find my code to register, how do I find the code?
Your registration code is located inside the software that you have downloaded from our website. To find your personal registration code, open up our shareware that you have been using. If you don't have a copy of it, just go re-download it. If you follow the download directions listed there EXACTLY, it will place the file RIGHT THERE on your desktop for convenience. Then open up the .exe file you downloaded and click "registration" up at the top left (or "Options... Registration Code" for some of our software). It will tell you what your machine's registration code is, inside THAT place. And it should be listed there in both UPPER and lowercase to help you distinguish between the letters (to make sure you read them correctly). DO NOT MAKE UP YOUR OWN CODE. The password you will receive will not work. We can't make it any more simple than this: open our software and click "registration", because that is where your personal regcode is listed.
The password you sent me does not work! Why?
The password you receive from us will ONLY work with the registration code you sent to us when you registered. Our software encrypts certain identification areas from YOUR computer ONLY, and derives a registration code built solely for that machine. Therefore, it is impossible for two people to share the same password, as no two machines are identical. If you are attempting to input your password into your software and it does not work, then ONLY one of these two things are possible:
1. The registration code that matches that password is NOT the regcode listed currently inside that software. Go take a look! You are probably trying to enter a password for a DIFFERENT registration code than what is really showing in your CURRENT software. Send us an email and let us know what's going on.
2. You are typing the password incorrectly. Take a closer look at the password we sent you. Did you invert 2 of the letters? Are you mistaking an "o" for a "D", or an "i" for an "L"? We sent you the password in both UPPER and lower case so you can distinguish the letters easier.
Is your software illegal to use?
No, they are not illegal to use, according to section 1030 of the US Fraud and Computer abuse law. It is illegal to HACK into a computer and steal information, to gain money (like a jackpot). None of our programs HACK, and neither do you when you use them.
Can my online gaming site detect that I am using your software?
NO. Absolutely, positively, not. Java has special security features built inside to disallow websites from accessing most areas of your computer. The Java language is limited to its own self, and the files/areas that only it creates/accesses. Think about it logically. If website's could "see" everything that you were doing (even just software that is running), what a nightmare browsing today's web could be!
I heard your software and/or website has a virus.
Our software/website speak for themselves. We are here to HELP people, not hurt them. We challenge you to run any and all virus protections yourself on anything we offer (you should be anyways). Then once you have proved it yourself, go back to the person you heard this from and inform the truth. We despise viruses just as much as the next person. Our #1 goal at Badgehelp is to provide HELPFUL programming aides, and our thousands of customers will back that theory.
