07/09/09 Version 0.7 has been released to fix a problem a few people had with it.

   When it plays the tricks it will:

  • Play a counter if your partner already has the trick and you can't take it.
  • Play a non-counter if the other team has the trick and you can't take it.
  • Trump the trick appropriately
  • Lead all aces first, then lead low cards to save the higher ones for later.
  • a fix for the “Runtime Error 9” issue in PinochlePlayer is in the works.

  It wins about 70-80% of the time. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated. It helps make better autos.

• Here is PinochleCounter v0.5 PinochleCounter is a companion card counter that keeps track of what cards have been played during a game of Pinochle. When all cards of a particular rank and suit have been played, it displays a bold ‘X' to let the user know that no more cards of that rank and suit are left.
